Denim trends for Fall 2022
Well, I checked out the new trends and I can tell you that what’s happening is more of the same two things. The first is that anything goes and the second is that wide-leg jeans are still trending along with…..boot cut and bell bottoms. Now don’t flip out if you’re against that style. Personally, I’m a fan of the baby boot cut. I wore it even when it wasn’t “in” a few years ago. I want to wear what makes me feel good which for the most part is stretch. Mother jeans and Kut from the Kloth have been my go-to brands for the last few years. I was questioning though if my Mother jeans from spring are looking “passe” as my mom used to day…..RIP Darlene. The hem is cropped, cut asymmetrical AND frayed. Now that was quite a combination but I choose to still wear them. Stylist’s tip: If like you like denim with stretch the best way to have them last years longer is to wash them in cold water, inside out, and hang dry. You know the denim has hit its life span when the fabric get’s “puckery” and sort of wavy.
