The secret to hemming your pants is here

Yes, she’s cute! But are we going to do this? Meanwhile, there’s bootcut, skinny, straight leg, cropped, wide-leg, etc….how do we hem our pants? You don’t have to go far from your house to see incorrect hems. Wide leg or boot cut jeans hitting the ground. Skinny jeans bunched up at the ankle. There is an answer. Visit the tailor! Get a referral from a friend if you need one. When you have a tailor you can trust (hello Sindy at Nordstrom) it’s a partnership that makes a big difference. Look your best and people will notice. When your sleeves are coming down over your hand it looks like you’re wearing the wrong size garment. Even my tall clients get their fair share of alterations, it’s not just for the 5’4” and under like me. The alteration I recommend the most is taking in the back of the waistband on a jean. When you’re constantly pulling up your jeans the waist is too loose. It can be a small amount but but it makes all the difference. Let’s hear how it’s going with you, any alterations needed?
