The color of the year for 2023

It’s that time of year again! Pantone announced the color of the year for 2023 “Viva Magenta”. Usually I’m underwhelmed at the color of the year but I have to say, I like this one! Do you remember the horrible yellow and gray from a few years ago? Well anyway we have moved on. Magenta is one of my favorite colors so I am welcoming this change. A few of my favorite magenta items? How about my UGG slippers that Ethan sold me or my favorite lipstick, Anne Lilac by Gucci. Another favorite is a magenta fur coat that Scott bought me in the 1980s. I don’t really wear it but it sits over my office chair in the winter and brings me magenta-joy. It just occurred to me why my favorite flower has always been bougainvillea 💝
