A new kind of denim

For most of us, jeans are our uniform. We often wear them seven days a week. The average woman owns 7 pairs of jeans and the average man owns 6. I can tell you my son brings this average down because he’s the only guy I know that doesn’t wear jeans. I am fully in the 7 pair category. But why is jean shopping so hard? Have you ever tried shopping online for jeans? Ha! The only way this will work is if you know your brand, style and size. Then fine, go ahead and order. Otherwise, hit up the stores and bring a little patience, maybe a lot. Shopping services are available! Below are some styles that feel new. Give it a try and don’t forget that most all jeans need to be altered whether it’s the hem or taking the waist in. Spend the few extra dollars on tailoring because the cost-per-wear will pay for itself. The new loose cut jean is great for all heights. For 5’4” and under, take your shoes to the tailor when getting them hemmed. Long jeans should be 1/2” from the ground as seen in the 4th photo. For spring and summer, show a little ankle and your fun shoes!
